The dynamic capsule features a hyper-cardioid polar pattern that effectively minimizes noise and ambiance at the off-axis sections of the microphone. Hyper-Cardioid Pattern
The hyper-cardioid polar pattern is most effective in eliminating signal at the off-axis sections of the capsule, allowing use in close proximities to monitors and speakers without feed back.
Contoured Frequency Response
The 50Hz to 18kHz frequency response provides a natural low frequency roll-off, eliminating low frequency noise and hum.
High Output Gain
The OM3 incorporates VLM technology at the output stage to provide excessively high gain level while maintaining a low noise floor.
